Personally, I'm not a huge fan of most werewolf movies. There are some good practical effect in this movie when there is werewolf action to be had on screen, and the movie is revered among many fans of the subgenre.

Are you a fan of The Howling?

"I'm looking for my wife."

*Delay* "Why?"

Ha, that's not an awkward exchange at all. [*laugh*]

Say what you will about this film, it has some funny lines every now and again.

"You were raised in L.A., the wildest thing you heard was Wolfman Jack."

"I'm not really sure how cows are supposed to sound." (That delivery cracked me up).
