To give everyone a break from shitty American horror news, I decided to post about a French Horror movie I am looking forward to called The Horde.

Here is a synopsis: North of Paris. In order to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, corrupt cops four go on a rampage in a condemned building serving as the mobster's hideout. Now trapped, the officers are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Unexpected alliances are made when their lives are threatened by the unthinkable.

Now that sounds like a great setup to me, kinda like Assault on Precinct 13 zombie style where the cons and cops team up to stay alive. And hey, the French have been kicking ass lately as far as horror is concerned. Only played a couple festivals so far, so we will have to wait to see this flick. Shame.

Could only find a pixelated trailer on YouTube but check it out anyhoo:

Another zombie movie?

There's a kind of movie that really needs to stop.

You really are crazy.

The Zombie Genre is an awesome genre! If any genre needs a stake through the heart, it's gay vampire movies genre! More zombies!

All vampire movies and all gay movies need to stop. Agreed. I don't care about the fanbase. The mere idea of zombie movies continuing, after only a few were worth the time, it boggles the mind. The same shit over and over, and it wasn't even that interesting after only a few scattered throughout the last few decades. This doesn't look like one of the few... it just looks like garbage.

There's a french online game called "Hordes" which is about surviving zombies attacks, but I doubt this is related.

Looks kick ass to me.

Zombie movies....even the ones that make no sense are all fun...best sub-genre that our beloved horror genre has given us.

Looks like it will be pretty good to me - what we really need is another really savage zombie film to balance out the comedic gig they have been playing lately.

Just finished watching this movie, think I'm gonna put up a review of it a little later, instead of posting my thoughts here.
