This week's film is: À l'intérieur (2007) (also known as Inside)



Every so often I'll post a horror movie. Then sometime until I post the next thread you need to (hopefully watch it first, but is not mandatory) post a short snippet on your feelings on the film and a score out of 10, and as opposed to last time you can give me half scores (i.e.: 7.5, 3.5, etc)...


I'll admit, I haven't seen this foreign legend as of yet. I'm just in the mood for some foreign stuff.

[The Shape]

 I saw this one several months back and loved its twisted plot... Quite a bit of gore and nice kills, I can see the controversy around this movie but if you can look past it you will see how good it really is...

What do you think, Shape, better than Martyrs?

Indeed, New French Extremity is a fun genre.

And JasonsZ mentioned something that sounded like a decent idea: Putting these Horror film club thingys (or mentioned them) on the homepage, like teh slashers and the radio show.

Pretty gory flick with some sweet kills. One of the darker movies to come out in awhile. The cops in this, however, made the last house on the left cops look like brains though. Their ineptitude really annoyed me. Still, the overall movie was great and I think the people behind this have a good future ahead.

De Rating: 8/10

[The Shape]

I give this and Martyrs the same score but I like Martyrs just a little bit better, not enough to give it a higher score than this though just a little bit... Both great movies.

I'm giving this a 6/10. There was so much hype built up for it by people on this website and in my opinion, it failed to deliver. Sure, the gore was nice, but good gore doesn't make a good movie. Every character besides the killer made extremely stupid decisions and the ending was so predictable that it failed to make an impact.

Up side is I got it for free by making a shit joke, so I didn't waste any money.
