The Killer from the original who prank calls people and spouts obscenities gets the remake killer on the line. Ingenious actually.

I figured it would be somewhat hard to figure out, but I thought the concept was too good  to not use it.

lol OMG my husband, and I watched the original black Christmas last night. This is great, I've only seen some parts of the remake, my husband is the only one who watched it all the way, but from what I saw it looked shitty.

The remake is one of the biggest piece of poop I've ever had the displeasure to watch. And I haven't even seen the original.

When there's a movie I haven't seen I want to talk about in the Slashers, I just do a lot of research and watch clips on youtube. We never actually see the killer in the original.

The original is very good....Supposed to be the slasher that started it all....1974 to be exact, they say even the great "Halloween" is a knock off of the original "Black Christmas" which tends to make it on almost all top 25 slashers of all time lists.

If anybody's interested, Cinemassacre did a review of this recently, analyzing the "first slasher" claims and comparing it to both older and newer films.  Very enjoyable.

Well you do get to see a little of his face when he is about to stab Barbara, but still it's only for a second, and it's dark. That movie scared the shit out of me when i first saw it, I could not sleep, I kept thinking someone would break into our home, and kill us.

Maybe that's why it's so scary, it's something that could really happen.
