When Maria and Alexa go to the house of Alexas’ parents, they expect some quiet time to study for their upcoming exams. However, peace is the last thing they receive as they are disturbed by a mysterious sadistic madman whose intent seems to be to kill everyone in the house. After decimating the parents, he kidnaps Alexa, and Maria must do her best to take this madman down. However, the question lingers: Who is the killer, and why does he want to kill everyone? Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes remake, Mirrors) answers this question in spades in Haute Tension (AKA High Tension).
