Orphan (2009)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

Orphan is a well-acted, slow-burning thriller which carefully and meticulously builds itself up to a pretty decent plot twist. I'm not one to get caught up in minor technicalities and small plot holes, but there are a few and you may find yourself asking questions such as how this woman, who has been in jail and a recovering alcoholic, is so easily able to adopt along with questions regarding Esther's past.
Not a bad movie to watch if you're after something suspenseful.
